Weather radar in <scp>Nepal</scp> : opportunities and challenges in a mountainous region

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) in Nepal installed the first weather radar 2019 western region country. Radar-rainfall estimates across Himalayas can be useful to inform decision-making a broad range infrastructure sectors, including water, energy, construction, transportation, agriculture.
